Sami National Theatre and High School

L2 Arkitekter

Close to the university in Kautokeino stands the proposal for the Sami National Theatre and High School competition, designed by L2 Arkitekter. The project included a school along with several workshops for traditional Duodji crafts, sports facilities, a theater, and dining/administration areas. A complex program is wrapped in an elegant wooden lattice, linking the design with vernacular artistic expressions.
