In Kunming, China, SHL designed the National Botanical Museum as both a scientific and cultural landmark, 12 km from the city centre. Surrounded by biodiversity, it aims to preserve ecosystems while merging architecture, education, and environmental awareness. Close collaboration with SHL allowed creative freedom, resulting in images that celebrate biodiversity and the dialogue between nature and design.
