Set along the Black Sea coastline, The Drop is part of the Ion Riva development, a new neighborhood shaped by nature, community, and cultural life located at the north of Istanbul. This Beach House designed by Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), acts as a key element within the masterplan, establishing a strong connection between the urban fabric, the community and the sea. Using a strong gesture which reminds the shape of a Drop, the building presents a linear frontage toward the street, while its form softens into a curved volume that opens toward the the clift facing the water.
