New Centre at Mannheim University Hospital. The Neue Mitte merges patient care with adjacent research and teaching facilities, creating an inspiring place to work, heal, and live, with people at its core. The original hospital was conceived as a ‘hospital in the park’, and Telluride’s new design continues that vision. Through a thoughtful arrangement of open and enclosed courtyards, the new building reestablishes the dialogue between architecture and nature.
