SHANGHAI FREE TRADE ZONE LINGANG: LAKE EYE 

This image belongs to a set developed for ENNEAD, for the Shanghai Free Trade Zone. The project is part of a huge ring and the program is to design the financial city connected to the cultural Island of the Masterplan, which is positioned on the center of Dishui Lake. This was the HERO shot, where we could have the opportunity to perceive the skyline of the city, taking us from the very far distant and huge scale to the closets human one: the people on the boardwalk. We were not facing a descriptive view but moody one, focused on the storytelling. The lighting and color of the image were crucial: we are not interested on details but in causing a nice impact over the viewer. The depth, the atmosphere and the balance between bright and dark are the key points of the view. To work on this shot was kind of a gift for us, so we are happy to share it with you all.
